Volunteer Auxiliary Elect 2009-2010 Board Members

The Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center Volunteer Auxiliary has new leadership. Hope Smith was elected president of the Executive Board, taking over duties from Alice York, who served as president for the last two years. Smith has been a volunteer at the hospital for the past four years. She lives in San Luis Obispo.

The volunteer auxiliary is a non-profit organization that collectively gives more than 43,400 hours of service each year to the hospital. These volunteers play a critical role in Sierra Vista’s mission to deliver high quality patient care. Currently, more than 125 volunteers graciously give their time and energy to bring warmth and compassion to the lives of our patients, their families and our staff.

Also elected to the Executive Board are:

·        Secretary: Marsha Carlson

·        Treasurer: Scotty Morris

·        Assistant Treasurer: Nancy Rust

·        Parliamentarian: Alice York
