Sierra Vista Logo
In anticipation of ushering in its 50th Anniversary in 2009, Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center has adopted a new logo designed to represent the hospital and the community it has served since 1959. Featuring a contemporary illustration of rolling hills and the sun, the new mark conveys conveys health and vitality while depicting the icons of the Central Coast geography.

According to Candy Markwith, Sierra Vista’s Chief Executive Officer, the hospital wanted a logo highlighting the hospital’s focus on wellness. “We want our logo to tell a story of a hospital that has served generations of residents and continues to grow with the community,” she said. “Our new logo captures the personality of both the hospital and the residents we serve.”

In addition to Markwith and the hospital’s leadership team, Sierra Vista’s Governing Board is chaired by local attorney David Juhnke of Sinsheimer, Juhnke, Lebens & McIvor. Dr. Phillip Borgardt is Chief of Staff. The new logo was designed by Barnett Cox & Associates of San Luis Obispo.
