About 80 percent of all out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occur in private residential settings, so being trained to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) can mean the difference between life and death for a loved one. If a cardiac arrest happened to your loved one or a close friend, would you know how to perform life-saving CPR, which can double a victim’s chance of survival? Surprisingly, the vast majority of Americans don't.
To help arm members of our community with this life-saving tool, Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center offers CPR classes for healthcare providers, non-clinical staff and any other community members interested in learning the basics. Registration for these classes is REQUIRED. Please call 546-7601 ext. 7001.
