Dr. Bruce Monroy is a daVinci Trained Surgeon 
 
Bruce Monroy, MD
Gynecology

Dr. Bruce Monroy completed his undergraduate degree in biological sciences at The University of California, Santa Barbara. He received his medical education at the University of Southern California School of Medicine. Dr. Monroy was Chief Resident in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Spectrum Health Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan from 1999-2000 and is a member of both the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists. He is fluent in English and Spanish.

Christopher Johnson, MD
Urology

Dr. Johnson completed his undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences at the Johns Hopkins University. He received his medical education at Cornell University and completed his surgical and urologic training at The New York Presbyterian Hospital - Columbia University Campus. He received his board certification by The American Board of Urology and became a fellow of the American College of Surgeons in 2006.

 

Dr. Craig Canfield performs minimally invasive urological procedures using the daVinci Surgical System 
 

Craig Canfield, MD
Urology

Dr. Canfield completed his medical education at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, Texas. He then attended the UCLA Medical Center to complete his surgery and urology residencies. Dr. Canfield received his certification by the American Board of Urology in 1995.

 

Dr. Hugh Perkin is a daVinci Trained Surgeon 
 

Hugh B. Perkin, MD
Urology

Dr. Perkin completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, San Diego. He received his medical degree at The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He subsequently completed his urology training at The Los Angeles County and USC Medical Center. He is currently undergoing certification with the American Board of Urology.

 

Howard Hayashi, MD
General Surgery

Dr. Howard Hayashi completed his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Irvine. He received his medical education at the University of California, Davis, where he also completed his residency and general surgery training. Dr. Hayashi became a Diplomat of the American Board of Surgery in 1989 and served as Chief of Surgery at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center from 2000-2002.

 

Edwin Hayashi, MD
General Surgery

Dr. Edwin Hayashi completed his undergraduate degree in physiology at the University of California, Davis. He received his medical education at the University of California, San Francisco, where he also completed his residency and general surgery training. Dr. Hayashi became a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners in 1991. He is licensed by the Medical Board of California and has published numerous research papers.  

 

David Bolivar, MD
General Surgery
 
Dr. David Bolivar completed his undergraduate degree at La Sierra University in Riverside, California. He received his medical education at Loma Linda University School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency and general surgery training. Dr. Bolivar is a member of the American College of Surgeons and The Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons.

 

Stephen Tidik, MD
General Surgery
 
Dr. Tidik completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at San Diego State University. He received his medical education at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency and general surgery training. Dr. Tidik is board certified in general and peripheral vascular surgery. He received his board certification by The American Board of Surgery and became a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has been a member of the Associated Surgeons of San Luis Obispo since 1995.
